Croissant Maker

About the role

The Croissant Maker will work full‑time on‑site in our Abu Dhabi bakery, preparing and baking croissants and related pastry items. The role involves following established recipes, maintaining product quality, and supporting the bakery team to meet daily production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Scale ingredients, mix dough, laminate, shape, proof and bake croissants according to standard recipes.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent texture, flavor and appearance.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized workstation in line with food‑safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with the bakery team to meet production schedules, manage raw‑material inventory and assist with new product trials.
• Work early‑morning or shift‑based schedules as required to support production demand.

Required profile

• Practical experience in pastry or bakery production, especially with croissant and laminated dough.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and basic HACCP principles in a commercial or industrial bakery.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes, production schedules and quality specifications with strong attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle baking equipment safely.
• Reliability in attendance, punctuality and willingness to work shifts, including weekends or holidays.

Required skills

• Basic numeracy for measuring ingredients and recording production data.
