Buyer – Tactical Purchasing (UAE National)

About the role

We are hiring a Buyer to manage day‑to‑day tactical purchasing for ADRobotics. The role issues and expedites purchase orders, oversees supplier delivery commitments and resolves procurement issues to keep production supplied on time.

Key responsibilities

• Convert approved purchase requisitions and MRP‑generated demand into purchase orders in the ERP system, adhering to pricing, terms and supplier agreements.
• Track order acknowledgements, confirm lead times and expedite or de‑expedite purchase orders according to changing production schedules.
• Monitor open purchase order status, flag late deliveries, shortages or quality holds and communicate them to planning and production supervision.
• Resolve supplier issues such as invoice mismatches, packing discrepancies and delivery exceptions in coordination with receiving and accounts payable.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier lead times and pricing data in the ERP to support reliable MRP planning.
• Support supplier onboarding administration and run routine spend and on‑time‑delivery reporting for assigned commodities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of tactical purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing, hardware or start‑up environment, preferably in the UAE.
• Hands‑on experience issuing and managing purchase orders against existing supplier agreements.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics for purchase order creation, tracking and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling a high volume of purchase orders and delivery dates.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, planning and receiving teams.
