Data Engineer – AI/ML Documentation & Evaluation (Remote)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading foundational AI lab to build data pipelines, documentation, and evaluation materials for a new language model that generates professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The position is fully remote, flexible, and compensated at $80 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Produce technical design documents, architecture decision records, and system architecture diagrams.
• Document data pipelines, ETL processes, and data infrastructure.
• Generate model evaluation reports and AI system readiness assessments.
• Write API specifications, integration guides, and developer onboarding materials.
• Develop data quality and validation test plans.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, data engineer, or AI/ML practitioner.
• Direct experience evaluating model outputs and documenting technical trade‑offs for engineering or cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Expert‑level craftsmanship in documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong written communication.
