Data Modeller – Azure & DataBricks Expert

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeller to design and optimise data architectures that support our business operations. You will work closely with data analysts, architects, engineers and DBAs to turn complex data flows into reliable, scalable systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into conceptual and physical data models.
• Evaluate existing data systems and propose improvements for cross‑compatibility.
• Collaborate with data teams to design data flows and coding standards.
• Implement data strategies, create and maintain metadata and local models.
• Assess deployed systems for variances, troubleshoot issues and optimise performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 7‑10 years of data engineering experience, including hands‑on pipeline development in Azure.
• Proven expertise with DataBricks and end‑to‑end data product deployment.
• People‑management experience.
• Strong background in Python and SQL.
