Demi Chef de Partie – Garage Production

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join our Garage Production kitchen at W Hotels on Yas Island. You will work closely with the Chef to deliver high‑quality meals, maintain food safety standards, and support a dynamic service environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, cold dishes and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate oven, broiler, grill and roaster temperatures and monitor food quality and quantity.
• Pull items from freezer, thaw safely, and ensure proper portioning, arrangement and garnish.
• Maintain food logs, communicate menu specials, and inform service staff of out‑of‑stock items.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and employee coaching as directed by management.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, report maintenance needs and uphold uniform standards.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational school qualification in culinary arts or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lb without assistance.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
