DevOps Support Engineer

About the role

Our client, a global technology provider for the energy sector, is seeking a DevOps Support Engineer to join its customer support team in Abu Dhabi. You will deliver hands‑on technical assistance for a cloud‑native automation platform, working across Kubernetes clusters and a range of supporting services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full‑time, English‑language technical support for platform installations, updates, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues such as SSL errors, DNS problems, networking faults, and performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain and support core platform components including Kubernetes, Nginx, MongoDB, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and Temporal.
• Manage multiple Kubernetes clusters to ensure reliability and optimal performance for client environments.
• Collaborate with a five‑person support team to deliver high‑quality assistance to clients across the Middle East, North Africa, and beyond.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or engineering title in software engineering or a related field.
• At least three years of professional experience in DevOps or related functions.
• Fluent written and spoken English for clear technical communication.
• Strong ability to work independently and proactively in a small team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for client‑facing interactions.
