Director International Development – EMEA

About the role

The company is seeking a senior leader to drive franchise development and new market entry across Europe, the Middle East and India. This role reports directly to executive leadership and will shape the international growth agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Lead franchise development and market entry in priority European markets (UK, France, Spain, Germany, Netherlands) and spearhead expansion into India.
• Identify, assess and secure high‑quality franchise partners aligned with long‑term brand objectives.
• Negotiate and execute complex commercial agreements from initial engagement through to signing.
• Build and maintain a network of investors, franchise partners and strategic stakeholders.
• Conduct market assessments, white‑space analysis and partner evaluations to support scalable growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance, legal, supply chain, quality) to ensure successful market entry.
• Provide regular market insight, commercial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in multi‑unit expansion, preferably within quick‑service restaurant (QSR) franchising.
• Demonstrated success in international new market entry, especially across Europe.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to operate with senior stakeholders and investors.
• High commercial and financial acumen with ability to assess deal viability.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe, the Middle East and India.
• Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
