Director of Financing – Global Investment Fund

About the role

Our client, a leading global investment fund based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a senior financing professional to join its central team. The role will support the fund and its portfolio companies across a wide range of capital‑raising and financing activities, operating in a lean, collaborative environment with significant autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financing transactions across corporate debt, syndicated facilities, bond issuances and M&A/acquisition financing.
• Advise portfolio companies on financing requirements, capital structure and broader corporate finance considerations.
• Lead negotiations with banks, lenders and advisors, acting as the senior point of contact.
• Support the management of the fund's capital structure, financing strategy and debt programme.
• Coordinate complex, large‑scale transactions involving internal teams, portfolio companies and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with an international network of banks, bond investors, rating agencies and advisors.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting and translate it into capital‑raising and financing needs.
• Provide financing expertise across the platform, guiding portfolio company management teams.

Required profile

• Senior financing professional with strong background in banking, financing advisory or a sophisticated investment/corporate platform.
• Broad product experience in corporate and structured finance, acquisition finance, loan syndications and debt capital markets.
• Proven track record of leading and executing financing transactions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility with portfolio company management, banks and advisors.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA are advantageous.
