Senior Specialist, Economic Analysis

About the role

The Senior Specialist, Economic Analysis provides expert economic evaluation for ADNOC Upstream investment decisions, capital projects and business development activities, ensuring robust assessments for concessions, M&A and farm‑in/farm‑out transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct economic evaluations of upstream investment opportunities, preparing detailed models, forecasts and sensitivity analyses.
• Support the Upstream Investment Strategy, prepare business cases and presentation materials for Investment Program and Investment Committees.
• Collaborate with Group Companies and other directorates to ensure consistent methodologies and reporting standards.
• Review fiscal regimes, concession agreements and provide economic input to protect ADNOC and Government interests.
• Perform portfolio analysis, monitor market trends and produce reports, position papers and briefing notes for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering or related field; postgraduate qualification (MSc, MBA) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in economic analysis, financial modelling or investment evaluation within the oil and gas upstream sector.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.
