Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

The Director of Food & Beverage will lead the F&B department at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates, driving top‑line growth while ensuring sustainable and profitable operations that reinforce Kempinski’s luxury brand.

Key responsibilities

• Set an example through punctuality, professional attire, and high personal standards; ensure all staff follow suit.
• Prepare and consolidate the yearly budget, monthly income statements, and conduct performance meetings with outlet managers.
• Lead daily briefings with the Executive Chef, conduct regular F&B meetings, and oversee service quality across all outlets weekly.
• Handle guest complaints promptly, monitor quality and satisfaction metrics, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and execute a yearly marketing plan, including competitor analysis and trend monitoring, in collaboration with Sales & Marketing.
• Maintain supplier relationships, source high‑quality products, and coordinate training programs for staff and outlet managers.
• Act as the main liaison with the Corporate Food & Beverage team, implementing corporate policies and attending regional/global events.

Required profile

• Minimum five years in an F&B management role, with at least three years in a 5‑star hotel or successful standalone operation.
• Proven ability to work independently, thrive under pressure, and deliver proactive solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a multinational environment.
• Strong organisational, time‑management, and delegation abilities.
