Director of Sales – MICE and Groups

About the role

The Director of Sales – MICE and Groups will lead the property’s segmented sales efforts, focusing on group, transient, association, and corporate markets. The role involves implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals while ensuring guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with the sales leader, including aggressive solicitation programs and promotional initiatives.
• Drive revenue maximization by setting personal booking goals, recommending team targets, and approving space releases for catering.
• Manage sales activities such as participating in sales calls, generating proposals, writing contracts, and supporting operational aspects of booked business.
• Analyze market and financial data to support revenue projections and identify improvement areas in guest satisfaction.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by leading guest hospitality initiatives, gathering feedback, and empowering staff to deliver high‑quality experiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including off‑property sales channels, HR, engineering, and loss prevention.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with 3 years relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 1 year experience.
• Proven ability to lead sales teams, develop strategies, and achieve revenue targets in the hospitality sector.
