Director of Volunteer Management & Community Engagement (UAE National)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced UAE National to lead our volunteer management, social cohesion and community engagement initiatives. The role will shape strategy, build partnerships and drive programmes that empower communities and create lasting social impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for volunteer management, social cohesion and community engagement.
• Design frameworks and programmes that encourage community participation and a strong culture of volunteerism.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with government, private sector, NGOs and community stakeholders.
• Lead the design and delivery of impactful community initiatives aligned with organisational and national priorities.
• Oversee volunteer engagement, development and recognition initiatives.
• Monitor programme performance and social impact using KPIs and reporting mechanisms.
• Lead and develop high‑performing teams to achieve strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree advantageous).
• Significant leadership experience in volunteer management, community engagement, CSR or related fields.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing community‑focused strategies and large‑scale initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and partnership‑building capabilities.
• Excellent strategic thinking, leadership and communication skills.
