Diving Superintendent – Offshore Project

About the role

The Diving Superintendent will lead offshore diving operations for Al Sahraa Group, ensuring optimal vessel utilisation, equipment performance and crew efficiency in line with ADNOC Offshore expectations. This senior position acts as the primary liaison between ADNOC L&S, ADNOC Offshore Integrity Team and the contracted diving contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee vessel, diving equipment and manpower utilisation to meet project schedules.
• Represent ADNOC L&S on‑site, ensuring contractor accountability and preventing off‑hire penalties.
• Monitor offshore activities to avoid work stoppages and promptly resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate dive logs, safety records and progress reports in accordance with ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate communication between ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC L&S and the diving contractor.
• Enforce HSE protocols, integrity standards and safe diving practices.
• Provide regular performance reports on vessel utilisation, crew efficiency and operational risks.
• Manage crew rotations and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Identify cost‑optimisation opportunities without compromising safety.
• Lead initial incident response and reporting for diving‑related offshore events.

Required profile

• Hold an IMCA‑recognised Air Diving Supervisor Certificate.
• Valid IMCA Continual Professional Development (CPD) certificate.
• Dynamic Positioning Basic Training certificate.
• At least 20 years of regular offshore diving experience.
