Duty Manager - Ramp

About the role

Velora Aviation is seeking a proactive Duty Manager to lead 24‑hour ramp operations at Zayed International Airport. You will ensure that all ground handling activities are planned and executed safely, efficiently, and in line with commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage airside operations during critical and non‑critical situations on a shift basis.
• Maintain Health & Safety compliance and adjust manpower according to demand.
• Deliver ramp KPIs, meet ground handling agreements, and produce cost‑efficient performance.
• Lead a multicultural workforce, conduct evaluations, and handle disciplinary matters.
• Oversee operational systems, submit safety reports, and ensure timely shift reporting.
• Collaborate with airport stakeholders and airline customers to resolve operational issues.
• Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions, and support employee development.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in airport or airline passenger handling, specifically ramp/airside operations.
• At least 3 years of experience managing large, diverse teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
