Ecommerce Operations & Marketplace Specialist

About the role

The E‑commerce Operations & Marketplace Specialist supports the E‑commerce Manager in driving trading and merchandising activities for the Toys R Us website and marketplace. The role focuses on delivering an enhanced digital customer experience, strengthening the Toys R Us brand online, and ensuring accurate product content.

Key responsibilities

• Drive financial targets such as sales, cash margin and margin percentage.
• Manage merchandise and trading on the e‑store/marketplace to maximise cross‑selling, up‑selling, conversion and revenue while monitoring stock levels.
• Maintain accurate stock, pricing, images and promotional offers across all marketplace platforms.
• Oversee daily and weekly product launches ensuring 100 % accuracy of product content and assets.
• Identify slow‑moving products, implement corrective actions and coordinate updates with internal teams.
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports, highlighting opportunities, risks and competitor insights.
• Resolve marketplace rejections in collaboration with stores and partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of experience in e‑commerce operations, marketplace management or related fields.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
