Economics Teacher - Immediate Start

About the role

The Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Economics Teacher to join its Business & Economics department in Dubai with an immediate start. The successful candidate will work with a diverse, non‑selective student body and contribute to the school’s IB‑focused learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Economics lessons for secondary students, aligning with the IB Middle Years and Diploma programmes where applicable.
• Use data‑driven approaches to monitor and improve student outcomes.
• Provide personalised support and mentorship to foster a love of learning.
• Collaborate with department colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives that promote the IB Learner Profile.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education or a relevant degree plus a teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE or equivalent).
• Minimum three years of experience teaching secondary Economics.
• Understanding of the IB DP framework and commitment to its philosophy.
• Strong desire to work in a culturally diverse, non‑selective community.
• Availability to start immediately.
