Faculty Position in Public Health & Healthcare Management

About the role

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) is seeking a full‑time faculty member in Public Health and Healthcare Management at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate will advance teaching, research and innovation in areas such as health economics, health systems performance and data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Teach online undergraduate and graduate courses covering public health, health economics, operations management, health quality and health management.
• Design and develop e‑learning materials, curricula and instructional content that incorporate industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, secure research funding and supervise capstone projects and theses.
• Mentor students throughout their academic journey and provide professional development through short courses and workshops.
• Contribute to program accreditation activities and other institutional service duties.

Required profile

• PhD in Public Health or Healthcare Management from an accredited university.
• Demonstrated expertise in healthcare management with practical application experience.
• Minimum five years of academic experience and a strong research record.
• Proven success teaching in accredited universities, preferably in online environments.
• Experience developing and delivering professional workshops for specific audiences.
• Ability to supervise student research projects and theses.
