ELV CAD Draftsman

About the role

Telepixel General Trading LLC is seeking an ELV CAD Draftsman to produce detailed design and construction drawings for extra‑low‑voltage (ELV) systems across Abu Dhabi projects. The role involves creating layout, schematic and coordination drawings, supporting tender preparation and ensuring multidisciplinary alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design layouts, device‑location layouts, shop drawings, IFC drawings, general arrangement and coordination drawings.
• Develop schematic, single‑line, block, riser, wiring and system connectivity diagrams.
• Create rack, equipment, wall, ceiling and control‑panel layouts and elevations.
• Produce containment, cable‑routing drawings, cable schedules, termination details and installation details.
• Review tender, architectural and MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs and schedules.
• Perform accurate quantity take‑offs for ELV, automation, AV and ICT systems.
• Assist estimation and design teams with BOQ preparation and marked‑up tender drawings.
• Coordinate ELV drawings with architectural, interior, electrical, mechanical, structural and other relevant disciplines.
• Identify clashes, missing information and coordination issues and raise them with responsible engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience preparing ELV design layouts and technical drawings.
• Ability to review tender and MEP documents and execute precise quantity take‑offs.
• Strong coordination skills with architectural, electrical, mechanical and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail in drawing numbers, revisions, dimensions, device tags and legends.
