Emerging Markets Lead – MENA (Arabic Speaking)

About the role

Column is looking for an Emerging Markets Lead to drive the launch of a new banking product across the MENA region. Based in Dubai, you will combine strategic market expansion with hands‑on partnership development, working closely with banks, fintechs and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and secure high‑value partnerships with banks and financial institutions across MENA markets.
• Build and nurture relationships with prospective and existing customers through in‑person meetings and industry events.
• Lead end‑to‑end deal processes, coordinating with legal, compliance and product teams to finalize contracts.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor competitive landscape and provide actionable insights for product adaptation.
• Travel regularly throughout the region and occasionally to Column’s headquarters in San Francisco.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, market entry or partnership management within financial services.
• Strong network in the MENA fintech and banking ecosystem.
• Fluent Arabic and English communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, able to work autonomously and thrive in a fast‑moving startup environment.
