Export Compliance Analyst

About the role

The Export Compliance Analyst will independently support and execute key elements of the company's export control and trade compliance program. Working on‑site in Abu Dhabi, the analyst ensures that all export activities adhere to applicable regulations such as EAR, ITAR, OFAC and UAE export control rules.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submit export compliance reports and metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze export transaction data to identify trends, risks and potential compliance issues.
• Maintain and audit export compliance records in line with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct restricted‑party screening and embargoed‑country reviews, documenting findings.
• Track export licenses, license conditions, exemptions and reporting obligations.
• Support internal, customer and government audits and investigations.
• Interpret and apply export control regulations to business activities and update related policies.
• Provide basic export compliance guidance and training to business partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in export control, trade compliance or related regulatory roles.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience reviewing transactional and reporting data.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
