Legal Counsel – FinTech (In-house)

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to become the company’s first dedicated in‑house legal professional, partnering directly with senior leadership to support strategic growth and manage legal risk within a fast‑growing fintech ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead debt recovery, collections, and pre‑litigation activities across the UAE.
• Manage external counsel and oversee claims, enforcement, and litigation matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial, lending, and financing agreements.
• Advise the business on lending, trade finance, credit, and day‑to‑day commercial legal matters.
• Support new market entries, licensing activities, and corporate structuring initiatives.
• Partner with commercial, product, and operational teams to identify risks and deliver practical legal solutions.
• Develop legal processes, governance frameworks, and policies while monitoring regulatory developments.
