Faculty - Applied Media

About the role

The Faculty of Applied Media is seeking an experienced academic to deliver high‑quality teaching across one or more applied media disciplines. The role combines instruction, curriculum development, and research to enhance student learning and analytical abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and labs in areas such as Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Immersive Technology, 2D/3D Design, Media Production, Digital Media, Content Creation, Branding, Social Media, Media Analytics, and Journalism.
• Contribute to the division’s research agenda and integrate research findings into teaching practice.
• Participate actively in curriculum design, assessment, and continuous improvement processes.
• Support the development and maintenance of institutional policies and engage in academic and extracurricular events.

Required profile

• Demonstrated expertise in at least one applied media discipline.
• Strong commitment to student‑centred learning and cultural respect.
• Experience in scholarly research and its application to teaching.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues on policy and program initiatives.
