Field Operator – Completion Services

About the role

The Field Operator 1‑Completion supports the execution of well‑completion operations at customer sites, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Working under senior field personnel, the operator assists with preparation, operation, and maintenance of completion tools for both onshore and offshore assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, inspect, assemble, test, and operate completion tools and equipment before, during, and after field operations.
• Perform rig‑up and rig‑down activities following approved procedures and safety requirements.
• Run completion equipment and downhole tools, monitoring performance and reporting any abnormalities.
• Conduct pre‑job inspections, toolbox talks, and equipment function tests.
• Maintain tools through routine cleaning, servicing, and preservation.
• Complete field documentation, operational reports, maintenance records, and service tickets accurately.
• Manage inventory of equipment, tools, and consumables.
• Assist with loading, unloading, transportation, and storage of field equipment.
• Collaborate with Field Engineers, Supervisors, and customers to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of oil‑and‑gas well completion operations and oilfield equipment.
• Understanding of mechanical tools, hydraulic systems, and completion equipment.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, lifting equipment, and basic workshop machinery.
• Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices.
• Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to follow technical procedures and SOPs.
