Field Service Mechanical & Tiling Specialist – Large Frame Gas Turbines

About the role

Join Siemens Energy in Abu Dhabi as a Field Service Mechanical and Tiling Specialist for large‑frame gas turbines. You will work on‑site, performing hands‑on mechanical assembly, disassembly and turbine‑tile replacement on 2000E and 4000F turbine frames.

Key responsibilities

• Execute mechanical assembly and disassembly of turbine frames, casings and combustion‑chamber components.
• Replace and refurbish ceramic tiles and burners in compliance with EHS standards.
• Follow technical documentation, drawings, PI&D diagrams and test records.
• Document installations, inspections, maintenance, repairs and failures accurately.
• Assess equipment condition and apply corrective actions using standard checklists.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of field‑service experience, preferably with prime‑mover maintenance.
• Vocational or technical college degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Advanced English communication skills; German is a plus.
• Willingness to work abroad, perform shift work and travel frequently.

Required skills

• Hytorc hydraulic tightening equipment (or ITH).
• Disassembly and mechanical assembly of turbine components.
• Use of precision tools: calipers, feeler gauges, micrometers, dial gauges, block gauges.
• Turbine tile replacement on 2000E and 4000F frames.
• Interpretation of technical documentation and drawings.
