Finance Intern – UAE National (Dubai)

About the role

GSK is seeking a UAE National to join its finance team in Dubai as an Intern Finance Associate. The role supports financial accounting and distributor finance activities across Gulf markets, providing exposure to a multinational finance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end close activities, including preparation of accrual journals and financial reporting.
• Assist in maintaining entity accounts in line with GSK accounting standards and finance policies.
• Coordinate purchase‑to‑pay processes, vendor creation and transaction tracking.
• Review employee expense claims and ensure compliance with local and global policies.
• Prepare and reconcile distributor account statements and help resolve financial queries.
• Monitor payment collections, clear aging balances and support three‑way matching for distributor transactions.

Required profile

• UAE National with a family book.
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or a related field.
• Good analytical, numerical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and prior exposure to SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
