Junior Accountant – Revenue Recognition & Interline

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the Revenue Services team in Dubai. The role focuses on revenue recognition, interline accounting and supporting the financial integrity of the airline’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process revenue accounting transactions, generate invoices and clear exceptions in the RAPID system.
• Perform fare construction checks, proration and tax processing, and reconcile interline and revenue clearing accounts.
• Conduct fare/refund audits, update master data, and raise accounting entries for provisions, accruals and exchange differences.
• Respond to customer disputes, reconcile passenger‑flown accounts and escalate settlement delays.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in finance and insurance accounting, preferably with fare revenue protection, passenger‑flown and refund processing.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities with the capacity to multitask.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and fare‑ticketing processes.
• Familiarity with the RAPID revenue accounting system.
