Finance Officer (FSRA Regulatory Compliance)

About the role

The Finance Officer will oversee the firm’s financial operations, ensuring full compliance with FSRA regulatory requirements. This role involves financial reporting, budgeting, capital adequacy, liquidity management, and supporting regulated activities such as Private Financing Platform operations, deal arranging, and fund management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in line with IFRS and ADGM standards.
• Prepare and submit all FSRA‑mandated reports, including PRU returns, audited financial statements, and capital adequacy and liquidity reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely statutory audits and regulatory filings.
• Monitor compliance with FSRA Prudential Rules (BCR, EBCM, RCR) and track liquid assets, capital buffers, and expenses.
• Ensure separation of client and firm assets and oversee financial flows for PFP transactions.
• Prepare the annual budget, conduct variance analysis, and develop short‑ and long‑term financial forecasts.
• Establish internal controls for financial integrity, fraud prevention, and compliance with ADGM commercial regulations, VAT, and corporate tax.
• Support operational and risk audits and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of finance/accounting experience within regulated financial services.
• In‑depth knowledge of FSRA rules (GEN, PRU, COBS) and familiarity with PFP operations and fund structures.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent (preferred).
