Finance Director

About the role

The Finance Director will lead EDGE Group's finance function in Abu Dhabi, overseeing financial planning, reporting, treasury, tax, and compliance to drive growth and profitability. This senior position requires deep manufacturing finance expertise and the ability to manage complex, multi‑entity operations.

Key responsibilities

• Advise executive management on financial strategy, pricing, investments and cost optimisation.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI monitoring and financial modelling.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships and treasury coordination.
• Oversee month‑end close, reconciliations and executive financial reporting.
• Control general ledger, inventory valuation, COGS validation and margin analysis.
• Supervise AP/AR, fixed‑asset capitalisation, depreciation and tax/VAT compliance.
• Conduct financial reviews of contracts, CAPEX projects and commercial evaluations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (CPA, ACCA, CMA or Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong manufacturing or industrial finance background.
• Proven ability to lead finance teams and manage end‑to‑end finance operations.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP.
