Financial Accountant – Full‑Set Accounting & Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to manage the full set of accounting operations for our Abu Dhabi office. The role involves ensuring accurate bookkeeping, compliance with UAE accounting standards, and providing reliable financial data to support management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Review expense and source documents, post daily vouchers, maintain account registers, and execute month‑end closing.
• Reconcile accounts receivable and payable, monitor current‑account ledgers, and clear outstanding balances.
• Coordinate with local banks for account opening/closing, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain bank documentation.
• Handle local tax matters, including VAT registration, filing, payment verification, and liaison with tax authorities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and operational reports, calculating costs, profits and revenue.
• Conduct inventory counts of office assets, fixed assets and product inventory, ensuring consistency with accounting records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Economics or related field and a local accounting qualification certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate accounting, including full‑set accounting, month‑end closing and financial statement preparation.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws, VAT filing rules and financial compliance requirements.
