Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Financial Controller to join TotalEnergies’ Renewable Development team in Dubai. You will support a fast‑growing affiliate by ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting and treasury management while driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including Comfi and WCR.
• Analyse monthly results, create KPI dashboards and present findings to management.
• Ensure correct accounting of expenses, payroll and revenues; verify MBC/SAP entries.
• Process payroll payments and employee expense claims via the SCB Bank portal.
• Lead the preparation of the annual budget, closing forecast and long‑term financial plans (5‑10 years).
• Review treasury and cash requirements for Opex and Capex payments across entities.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to finalize financial statements and audit deliverables.
• Supervise detailed P&L and balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain internal controls.
• Manage quarterly CAP consolidation reports and create cost‑centre/profit‑centre structures in SAP.
• Handle supplier payments, vendor verification and regulatory declarations.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and provide backup for treasury operations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, finance or a related field (Bachelor’s degree acceptable).
• Strong accounting and finance background with experience in financial reporting and budgeting.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑changing environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP (and related MBC systems).
