Fire Truck Driver – Emergency Response

About the role

The Fire Truck Driver will operate fire‑fighting vehicles and equipment to respond to fire incidents and other emergencies at Agroshipping facilities in Dubai. You will work closely with the firefighting crew to ensure rapid, safe, and effective emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Drive fire trucks and other special emergency appliances to incident sites.
• Operate fire pumps, fixed fire‑fighting systems, and other onboard equipment during emergencies.
• Perform daily checks, scheduled testing, and maintenance of fire vehicles and their systems.
• Participate in scheduled drills, tactical exercises, and joint emergency simulations.
• Conduct topography familiarisation visits to plant sites and surrounding areas.
• Follow orders for handling and maintaining firefighting equipment as directed by superiors.
• Respond to major emergencies according to Emergency Management Procedures, including out‑of‑hours calls.

Required profile

• Secondary school certification from country of origin.
• Six‑month fire‑man training at a government institution.
• Valid UAE heavy‑vehicle driving licence.
• Minimum five years experience as a fireman in a busy brigade, with at least two years driving heavy fire vehicles, preferably in a petrochemical refinery environment.
