Full Stack Desk Developer – Typescript, React & Python

About the role

This position sits within Vitol’s global CTRM & Operations Desk Developer team in Dubai. You will work closely with physical operations and trading desks to design, build, and maintain full‑stack applications that support day‑to‑day decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Rapidly prototype market‑focused business development tools and enhance existing automation tooling.
• Analyse business and user requirements, then manage project lifecycles from conception to delivery.
• Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to iterate on feedback and deliver actionable solutions.
• Suggest innovative technical approaches that improve processes or create new opportunities.
• Develop deep expertise in Vitol’s MIS platforms and integrate solutions to empower the operations desk.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree.
• Minimum 3 years of full‑stack development experience, primarily with Python and preferably .NET/C# on the backend.
• Proven ability to understand business requirements quickly, communicate effectively, and work independently.
• Experience in rapid prototyping and iterative development.
