General Assistant – Resort Maintenance

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a General Assistant to support the Wynn Oasis team in maintaining the resort’s facilities. The role involves hands‑on assistance across multiple maintenance disciplines in a fast‑moving hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist technicians with basic repairs such as tile replacement, door adjustments, fixture tightening and minor plumbing work.
• Support electrical teams by replacing lights, sockets and switches under supervision.
• Help HVAC crews with filter cleaning, coil washing and routine servicing tasks.
• Perform patching, painting and minor carpentry work as directed.
• Prepare access and safety setups for façade cleaning teams.
• Maintain cleanliness of external areas, service corridors, technical rooms, pump rooms, rooftops and service yards.
• Participate in seasonal and deep‑cleaning drives across the facility.
• Organise tools, consumables and spare parts in maintenance stores and transport materials between work zones.
• Report to the Principal Building Technician, follow daily task assignments and cooperate with other departments.
• Adhere to safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE and follow permit‑to‑work procedures.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of building maintenance tools and procedures.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within residential or hospitality settings (preferred).
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in varied conditions.
• Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
