Pool Cleaning Assistant – Resort Pool Maintenance

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Pool Cleaning Assistant to join the Wynn Oasis Engineering team. You will help keep the resort’s pools pristine, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean pool surfaces, tiles, steps and surrounding decks daily.
• Remove debris and foreign objects from pool water using skimmers and vacuums.
• Brush pool walls and floors to prevent algae and staining.
• Maintain poolside furniture, shower areas and storage zones.
• Assist the Pool Technician with water disinfection, chemical dosing and testing.
• Keep pool filters and strainers clean under supervision.
• Report any damage, leaks or safety hazards promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE when handling chemicals.
• Maintain daily cleaning logs and checklists.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of pool cleaning tools and procedures.
• Preferably 2 years of experience in pool cleaning or hospitality maintenance.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good physical stamina and strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to follow instructions and support technical staff.
• Responsive and professional handling of maintenance requests.

Required skills

• Operation of pool cleaning equipment (skimmers, vacuums, brushes).
• Basic understanding of pool water treatment and chemical handling.
