General Manager – Construction

About the role

The General Manager – Construction leads the organization’s full construction portfolio, overseeing luxury villa projects as well as mixed‑use residential and commercial developments. The role ensures delivery to the highest standards of quality, safety, efficiency and client satisfaction while driving strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the company’s construction strategy in partnership with senior management and set operational objectives, performance benchmarks and execution standards.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle—from planning and mobilisation through construction, testing, commissioning and handover—ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Manage project schedules, manpower deployment, procurement strategies and resource allocation; monitor progress, risks and mitigation plans.
• Maintain full compliance with UAE construction regulations, liaise with Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, Dubai Civil Defence, DEWA and other authorities to secure permits, approvals and certifications.
• Develop and control project and operational budgets, implement cost‑control measures, approve procurement and subcontractor decisions, and monitor profitability and cash flow.
• Represent the company in executive meetings, client discussions, consultant coordination sessions and authority engagements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading construction operations for luxury villas, residential and commercial developments.
• Proven ability to work closely with senior management and drive strategic business growth.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations and authority processes.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, cost control and financial management of large‑scale projects.
