General Manager – Ophthalmology Center (Dubai)

About the role

The General Manager will lead Sharif Eye Center’s Dubai operations, shaping strategy, driving growth and ensuring the highest standards of ophthalmic care across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement long‑term strategic plans aligned with the centre’s mission and vision.
• Oversee daily centre operations, guaranteeing efficiency, quality care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Identify cost‑saving measures while maintaining high standards of care and explore fundraising, grants and partnerships.
• Collaborate with medical directors and board members to ensure clinical excellence and accreditation compliance.
• Recruit, develop and retain senior management and administrative talent, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and manage risk through robust governance policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in eye‑care, eye‑center or eye‑hospital environments within the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
