Goods Flow Manager

About the role

The Goods Flow Manager is a strategic leader responsible for optimizing store goods flow operations in line with IKEA's vision of creating a better everyday life. The role focuses on ensuring stock availability, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency while complying with budget and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Logistics Manager and execute goods flow action plans.
• Lead the goods flow team to maintain high stock availability at the lowest possible cost.
• Develop and manage capacity plans and processes for receiving, replenishment, and order fulfillment.
• Monitor budget, cost, and KPIs to steer business performance.
• Implement logistics actions from the store business plan.
• Identify and develop talent within the team for succession planning.
• Ensure daily operations follow Service Protocol, including counting and minimizing wait times.
• Maintain compliance with IKEA code of conduct, internal regulations, and local health, safety, security, and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail and/or logistics at tactical and operational levels.
• Proven leadership experience managing people and business processes.
• Ability to set and implement action plans with clear direction and follow‑up.
• Experience in budgeting and achieving financial targets.
