Government Relations Officer – UAE National

About the role
The Government and Regulatory Officer supports Mashreq’s compliance with courts, police, public prosecution and other regulatory bodies in the UAE and Qatar. The role ensures that all requests and queries are processed accurately, on time and in line with internal policies.
Key responsibilities
- Process UAE and Qatar court orders and law‑enforcement agency (LEA) requests within defined SLAs.
- Handle police letters, public prosecution and CID correspondence across all UAE emirates.
- Manage the inbox for government enquiries and respond promptly.
- Execute case processing through the Velocity‑MOFT system where applicable.
- Coordinate with branch managers, unit heads and internal departments to resolve issues raised by regulators.
- Monitor case progress to ensure timely closure and maintain service quality.
- Support initiatives that improve operational efficiency and compliance.
Required profile
- UAE national with strong knowledge of UAE and Qatar legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under strict compliance guidelines.
- Strong coordination skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using the Velocity‑MOFT case management system.
