Graduate Engineer - ROV Systems (UAE National)

About the role

Fugro, a global geo-data specialist, is looking for a graduate engineer to support the maintenance, testing and repair of ROV systems and associated equipment. The role suits bright minds who enjoy meaningful work, can take initiative and work well within a team.

Key responsibilities

• Support the maintenance, inspection, testing, troubleshooting and repair of ROV systems and associated equipment.
• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and operational readiness.
• Prepare and test ROV systems, tooling and ancillary equipment for project mobilisation and offshore deployment.
• Conduct functional testing of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and control systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, asset data, test reports and technical documentation using company systems.
• Support inventory management, equipment tracking and certification compliance.
• Participate in ROV refurbishment, upgrade and technology improvement projects.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives involving robotics, remote operations, automation, digital solutions and AI-enabled maintenance tools.
• Ensure compliance with company QHSSE standards and safe working practices.

Required profile

• UAE national with a Family Book.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics Engineering or a related discipline.
• 0-2 years of engineering or technical experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Eagerness to learn about ROV systems, robotics and offshore technologies, and hands-on willingness to work with equipment in a workshop.
