Group Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a Group Internal Auditor to design and lead the internal audit and risk framework for a fast‑growing Food & Beverage business operating across the UAE and Kuwait. Based in Dubai, you will provide independent assurance, strengthen governance and help reduce operational risk across multiple business units and brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the group’s internal audit and control framework, including policies and reporting standards.
• Build enterprise‑wide risk assessment processes, maintain risk registers and produce annual risk‑based audit plans.
• Conduct operational, financial, compliance and process audits across retail stores, warehouses, manufacturing facilities and support functions.
• Perform surprise audits, cash and inventory counts, and site inspections.
• Analyse ERP, POS and payroll data to identify trends, risks and control weaknesses.
• Lead investigations into losses, fraud, policy breaches and operational irregularities.
• Drive loss‑prevention initiatives covering cash handling, inventory control and procurement.
• Prepare audit reports with practical recommendations and track remediation activities.
• Provide regular reporting and independent assurance to senior leadership and travel periodically across the UAE and Kuwait.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA, CIA or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit, risk, controls or compliance.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management and internal controls.
