Guest Service Agent – Front Office

About the role

As a Guest Service Agent at InterContinental Abu Dhabi, you will be a primary point of contact for guests, delivering warm welcomes, efficient check‑in and check‑out experiences, and personalized service throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage registrations, room assignments, keys, and payments with accuracy.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services, restaurants, promotions, and local attractions.
• Recognize IHG One Rewards members, returning guests, and VIPs to tailor experiences.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to resolve concerns and ensure room readiness.
• Process financial transactions, deposits, and payments according to hotel procedures.
• Answer telephone calls and support special arrangements for birthdays, anniversaries, and VIP stays.
• Maintain up‑to‑date guest profiles and ensure privacy, security, and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Guest Service Agent, Front Office Agent, Receptionist, or similar hospitality role.
• Experience in a luxury or international hotel environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, confident, professional demeanor with a genuine passion for guest service.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with ownership of guest requests.
