Guest Services Assistant

About the role

Jumeirah Hotel Group is hiring a Guest Services Assistant in Dubai. The role welcomes guests, answers their questions and handles registration, payment and reservations. The contract is for 2 years.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a warm, friendly and professional welcome and offer assistance and directions
• Answer questions by phone, email or in person, giving accurate information about services, amenities and local attractions
• Assist with registration and departure processes in hotels or events
• Process payments, verify identification and handle reservations

Required profile

• Previous customer service experience (1-2 years preferred), especially in hospitality, retail or front-of-house roles
• Experience with booking or reservation systems such as Opera, Fidelio, Salesforce or CRM tools is advantageous; on-the-job training is often provided for entry-level candidates
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Problem-solving, conflict resolution, multitasking and ability to work under pressure
• Friendly, approachable, professional appearance and conduct, reliable, punctual and trustworthy

What we offer

• Salary of 1,930 AED plus service charge and tips
• Service charge from the second month, typically 1,500-2,500 AED per month, higher in peak season
• Accommodation in Jumeirah-managed colleague housing 15-20 minutes from the hotels, with shared rooms and communal bathrooms
• Medical insurance, employment visa and tickets provided
• Free meals in the hotel canteen during duty, plus a late-night meal for night shift colleagues
• Fluent speakers of Spanish, French, Arabic, Italian, Mandarin or Russian get an extra 300 AED per month
• 48 hours per week, 1 day off per week, with 24-hour shuttle buses to the hotels
