Head Chef

About the role

The Head Chef will lead all kitchen operations for a specialty‑coffee concept in Dubai, ensuring that every dish meets the brand’s high standards of quality, consistency and visual appeal. Reporting directly to the Brand Chef, this full‑time, on‑site position involves creating and refreshing menus, developing food items that complement coffee offerings, and upholding rigorous food‑hygiene practices.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily food preparation and plating to guarantee consistency and presentation.
• Design, test and update menus and seasonal pairings in collaboration with the barista and management teams.
• Manage inventory, supplier relationships and purchasing to control food costs and minimise waste.
• Train, schedule and mentor kitchen staff, fostering teamwork, safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Monitor kitchen workflow, optimise processes and ensure adherence to quality‑control and sanitation standards.
• Support new product launches and guest‑experience initiatives across the brand.

Required profile

• Proven senior kitchen leadership experience (Sous Chef or higher) in cafés, restaurants or hospitality environments.
• Strong culinary background with a track record of menu development and food innovation.
• Deep knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations and kitchen sanitation best practices.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Dubai, including weekends, holidays and peak service periods.
• Relevant culinary education, certifications or professional training; experience with specialty‑coffee or café‑style cuisine is a plus.
