Head of Finance

About the role

QuickSpares, an aviation parts broker based in Dubai, is expanding into aircraft teardown, inventory stockholding and rotables. The Head of Finance will build the financial foundation for this growth, ensuring commercial decisions are profitable and the finance function operates at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end finance function, overseeing AR/AP, credit control and month‑end close.
• Partner with commercial teams to model deal‑level profitability, unit economics and scenario analysis.
• Own financial planning and analysis, including annual budgeting, quarterly re‑forecasts and KPI reporting.
• Manage treasury, cash forecasting (13‑week forecast) and optimise working‑capital metrics such as DSO, DPO, DIO.
• Maintain the control environment, statutory accounts and audit readiness.
• Configure and enhance finance systems on Dynamics 365 Business Central and develop BI dashboards for P&L, collections, margin and cash.
• Lead and develop the AR/AP & Credit Controller and plan future finance hires.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, CMA preferred; ACA/ACCA acceptable) with 7‑10 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven track record of building or significantly improving a finance function in a commercial setting.
• Experience in commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering with demonstrable impact on deal profitability.
• Hands‑on, automation‑focused mindset and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable collaborating with a Fractional CFO and senior leadership.
