Head of Finance

About the role

Emirates NBD is seeking an experienced finance leader to act as the strategic finance partner for Retail Banking, Retail Client Segments, and international Retail Banking & Wealth Management operations. The role will drive financial performance management, governance, planning, and decision‑support across the Group while leading a team of finance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all finance activities and provide strategic partnership across Retail Products, Retail Client Segments, and RBWM international businesses.
• Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful management information to support performance monitoring and executive decision‑making.
• Drive strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes, highlighting risks, opportunities and key business drivers.
• Strengthen governance, financial controls and reconciliation frameworks in line with Group policies.
• Lead finance transformation projects and strategic initiatives, including planning tools, business intelligence platforms and management information enhancements.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant or MBA with a specialisation in Finance.
• Minimum 10 years of post‑qualification experience within the finance function of a large banking institution.
• Strong understanding of finance, business performance management, strategic planning and financial systems.
• Experience in Retail Banking and Wealth Management environments.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead high‑performing teams and operate effectively under pressure.
