Head of Operations – Wealth & Trading

About the role

Revolut is seeking a senior leader to own and scale day‑to‑day operations for its Wealth and Trading business in the Middle East. You will be responsible for building robust processes, controls and partnerships that enable millions of customers to trade and manage wealth safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain first‑line operational controls such as maker‑checker, reconciliations, exception and access/entitlement management.
• Collaborate with Customer Support, Compliance, Risk and Finance to ensure accurate regulatory and transaction reporting, as well as client‑money safeguarding.
• Lead risk assessments, audits and regulatory reviews, develop remediation plans and oversee their execution.
• Investigate operational incidents, near‑misses and client‑impacting issues, driving root‑cause analysis and sustainable fixes.
• Define, track and report operational KRIs and KPIs to senior leadership.
• Manage selection, onboarding and ongoing oversight of key operational partners including brokers, custodians and data vendors.

Required profile

• Degree in finance, business, economics, engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a securities or trading environment, preferably within a high‑growth fintech.
• Proven track record of building and scaling operational frameworks in a regulated setting.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical processes.

Required skills

• Experience with maker‑checker and reconciliation controls.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting, client‑money safeguarding and risk management.
• Familiarity with operational partner management (brokers, custodians, data vendors).
