Healthcare Assistant – Inpatient Maternity (Aster Hospital)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join the Inpatient Maternity unit at Aster Hospital Al Qusais, Dubai. You will support the nursing team in delivering safe, compassionate care to mothers and newborns.

Key responsibilities

• Assist nurses with patient observations, vital signs, and basic clinical procedures.
• Provide comfort and support to postpartum mothers, including positioning and breastfeeding assistance.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection‑control standards in patient rooms and common areas.
• Document patient information accurately in hospital records.
• Transport patients safely between departments as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Healthcare Assistance, Nursing Assistance or a related field.
• Previous experience in a maternity or obstetric setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
