About the role
The Healthcare Assistant will work under the direct supervision of a Registered or Assistant Nurse at Royal Medical Centre Shahama in Abu Dhabi. This role supports safe, compassionate patient care and contributes to an outstanding patient experience.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver patient care and services safely and timely under nursing supervision.
- Assist with patient escort, appointment bookings, and other clerical tasks within the clinical setting.
- Transport patient specimens to the laboratory.
- Identify and report opportunities for improvement following the chain of command.
- Perform additional duties within the scope of ability, including cross‑departmental support when needed.
Required profile
- Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider qualification.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to manage personal professional re‑licensure.
- Flexibility to work across different departments as required.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
