HEI Compliance Inspector

About the role

The HEI Compliance Inspector will support the customer in conducting compliance inspections and mid‑cycle reviews of Higher Education Institutions across the UAE. This role combines quality‑assurance expertise with regulatory oversight to ensure institutions meet required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in planned and ad‑hoc inspections of universities, colleges and university colleges.
• Conduct pre‑inspection reviews of institutional information, KPI and Outcomes‑Based Framework data.
• Verify compliance with admissions, governance, data protection, health & safety and other regulatory areas.
• Sample and validate student files, institutional records and supporting evidence.
• Perform data verification, evidence tracing, sampling and triangulation to assess completeness and accuracy.
• Identify inconsistencies, risks and potential non‑compliance and escalate significant findings.
• Engage with institutional representatives during on‑site visits and record evidence in designated systems.
• Prepare evidence‑based inputs for inspection reports and review corrective action plans where required.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Education, Quality Assurance, Higher Education Management, Public Policy or related field; Doctorate preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in higher‑education quality assurance, accreditation, institutional effectiveness or regulatory oversight.
• Previous government or regulatory inspection experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with UAE higher‑education environment is a strong advantage.
