Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Noya British School (AY 2026/27)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for Noya British School in Abu Dhabi for the academic year 2026/2027. The role supports teachers and students, particularly those with additional or special educational needs, ensuring inclusive and high‑quality learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons, preparing resources and supervising practical tasks.
• Support students with special educational needs by providing tailored explanations, equipment, and guidance to promote independent learning and confidence.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and liaise with parents regarding performance.
• Comply with health, safety, safeguarding, dress code, and IT policies, and attend all staff briefings and training sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum two‑year diploma/degree in education or special needs education, or a high school diploma with a special needs education programme.
• At least two years of relevant experience working with students who have additional or special educational needs.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or police clearance.
